Designer and furniture maker Brooks Lawrence creates hand crafted furniture for residential and commercial use. From dining tables, to conference tables, to sculpture, Brooks designs incorporate the organic beauty of raw wood with architectural elements. Each furniture piece is constructed of salvaged wood recovered from urban and rural areas along the Central Coast of California. AVOID DIRECT SUNLIGHT
Try to keep your furniture out of direct sunlight.Prolonged exposure can cause the wood to bleach out, crack or warp.It's also a good idea to cover your furniture if you leave for part of the year.
HUMIDITY AND TEMPERATURE
Wood expands and contracts, therefore, both extremely moist and dry air should be avoided. Avoid placing furniture near fireplaces, air vents, or damp areas.
CLEANING
Wipe furniture with a clean, cotton cloth slightly dampened. Try to moisten the cloth just enough for the dust to adhere to it.
DO NOT use furniture polish or harsh cleaners. To avoid scratches, make sure you lift, don't slide objects on your furniture. Consider using placemats and coasters.
